Ther will not be anything in there called k-lite codec pack.but all the codec the pack installs will show up there, how VDj selects which codec it used I don't have a clue and nobody has ever said how to assign a specific codec to VDJ. I have no idea where they are in Vista (If somebody knows where to find them please let me know as I want to delete all min and start over as I am having some codec issues with Vegas, Windows Media Player and Zoom Player). In Windows XP they are installed in the Contol Panel>Sounds & Audio Devices>Hardware>Video Codecs>Properties.that will list all the video codecs installed int he system for general use (some programs install proprietary codecs in various other places that you may or may not be able to access). should I? NO, the codecs are not actually installed in VDJ. should I? i don't see K-Lite Codec Pack in vdj's codecs. And some software might receive 2-6 warnings but it's if they are not all same virus/trojan then it's 99% false positives.I don't see K-Lite Codec Pack in vdj's codecs.
